The Sweet Life at Wheelers Maple Sugar Bush

Visit Wheelers Pancake House and Sugar Camp in Lanark County, the Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario, near Perth, where they have been producing maple syrup since 1868.

The facility is open year-round, so you can enjoy maple syrup and pancakes anytime you like! Stop into the Maple Heritage Museum to learn about the rich history of Canadian maple syrup production and see the extensive chainsaw and logging display.

In spring, when the sugar bush is in full production, drop by for a free self-guided tour of the sugar camp. Enjoy maple taffy and visit the steers and sheep at the old log barn. When you’ve worked up an appetite after a morning of exploring, stop by the Pancake House for delicious large, fluffy homemade pancakes and maple sausages, topped off with fresh maple syrup!
